With days this gorgeous, it's incredibly difficult to stay indoors. Even with finals coming up and moving out of the dorms for the final time, it just got to be too much and I decided it was time for a quick break to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. Instead of just laying out in the backyard, I wanted to get up and move around so I made the trek down... 
Even though today wasn’t the nicest as the afternoon wore on, we’re definitely gearing up for what’s going to be a great spring/summer in Eau Claire. With great weather comes the need to be outside and Carson Park is one of the best places to spend an entire day out just enjoying the sunshine.... 
With a day as gorgeous as today, it was impossible to stay inside, so I grabbed a friend to go along with me on one of the many trails that Eau Claire has to offer. The one that's closest to us on campus is the Chippewa River Trail, and it's absolutely beautiful. It has been one of my favorite paths to roam ever since my freshman year here. ... 
Princeton Valley Cyclocross Race Pictures As the days grow shorter and the weather becomes less bike friendly, many road riders in and around Eau Claire switch to riding the terrific mountain bike trails at Lowes Creek and Northwest Parks. Off road riding is slower and the trees help block the wind, so the cooler air has less of an impact, making the rides more comfortable. We have another option, though: Cyclocross!... 
I love fall because it means that it's apple season. Now, I know that apples are available all year, but in the fall, I can go to an orchard to get them fresh, plus there's the experience of going out with friends and family to pick them. One place where my friends and I went was Hillview Farm Orchards....

One of my favorite things in the world is being outside, but sometimes it's not always the safest or accepted thing for me to run around. That's why I love dog parks so much.
