With days this gorgeous, it's incredibly difficult to stay indoors. Even with finals coming up and moving out of the dorms for the final time, it just got to be too much and I decided it was time for a quick break to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. Instead of just laying out in the backyard, I wanted to get up and move around so I made the trek down... 
The other day I was walking downtown with a friend when we passed Grand Ave. Café. It had been quite some time since my last visit and decided on the spot that I needed to make my way over there again. So, this afternoon, my friend and I thought it would be a good idea to swing by for some lunch.... 
So despite the weather being less than ideal this weekend, a friend and I decided to check out the new frozen yogurt place in town. I had heard a few people talking about it, and I was really excited to try it out, so rain and all, we headed over to Frogiyo which is right next to the Smiling Moose downtown.... 
For me, it just isn’t Sunday without a good Sunday brunch. There’s nothing better than sleeping in late and going to get some great breakfast food a little later in the day and just enjoying some good company. One of my favorite places to for a good brunch (every time) is Perkins.... 
Even though today wasn’t the nicest as the afternoon wore on, we’re definitely gearing up for what’s going to be a great spring/summer in Eau Claire. With great weather comes the need to be outside and Carson Park is one of the best places to spend an entire day out just enjoying the sunshine.... 
Some days it's almost illegal not to get ice cream. With the sun shining and people outside, there's nothing better than stopping by your favorite little ice cream shoppe and getting a treat to cool you off. I've always been quite partial to Dairy Queen, so after a nice long walk on the trail, my friend and I decided to get a Blizzard. ... 
With a day as gorgeous as today, it was impossible to stay inside, so I grabbed a friend to go along with me on one of the many trails that Eau Claire has to offer. The one that's closest to us on campus is the Chippewa River Trail, and it's absolutely beautiful. It has been one of my favorite paths to roam ever since my freshman year here. ... 
One of my favorite places in Eau Claire is this local tea house. Infinitea has never failed me in providing a great tea. With so much to choose from, it's hard to go wrong. Not to mention, the staff is really knowledgeable about the teas, so they can help lead you to the perfect decision, hot or cold. ... 
Not sure how many of you out there are crafty people, but if you are, I highly suggest stopping by Joann Fabrics. Located right by Oakwood Mall, it's an easy place to get to for just about any of your craft needs. My friend and I stopped by there today so we could get some of our supplies needed for a project. ...
